Born on the beach and raised in the Rocky Mountains.
After college, I moved to San Francisco. Failing to land a job and struggling to pay the bills, I launched a t-shirt company with my childhood best friends. Following many sleepless nights and several setbacks, we started selling our shirts to Urban Outfitters. While living in an old Victorian in the Upper Haight, my roommates and I built a photography darkroom, produced a mixed media art show at the acclaimed RVCA gallery, and made a documentary for Nike.
While working as an underpaid photographer, I created an award winning music documentary series with Monster Children Magazine. I toured with rock bands like La Femme, the Drums and Ty Segall documenting the thrilling adventures of the road, the studio, and backstage.
I traversed the globe directing surf movies for VISSLA. The surf movies led to directing music videos. Eventually, I was the creative lead on commercials for McDonald’s, Mini Cooper, and Squarespace.
I love hockey, outdoor adventure, and the feeling of gliding down the face of a wave on my surfboard. I’m on a mission to make the perfect cheeseburger and The Clash is my favorite band.
If you’ve got a good story, I want to hear it.
